Located in Hitachi City just east of Tokyo, Hitachi Works is one of the largest motor and generator manufacturing facilities in the world. It manufactures motors for rolling stock, dump trucks, steel mills, and numerous other applications, with a production capacity of 300 sets of traction motors per month.
We has received the EN 15085 certificate for welding of railway vehicles and components by third-party inspector TÜV Rheinland Japan, as well as ISO 14001 and 9001. These demonstrate that our advanced quality and safety control capabilities meet international standards.
