Hitachi Nico transmission Omiya plant located in Saitama-shi, Saitama manufactures drivelines "transmission" and "gears" for medium size, large size ships and various industry. Especially in the field of the ships, we are regarded as the technology and market share leader in Japan.
We are enthusiastically warking on day to day energy saving activity thoroughly while raising a productive efficiency. Therefore, we economise electricity consumption by installing the facilities such as an energy saving type air compressor and the LED lights.By replacing the fuel for heating facilities with natural gas and diesel engines for product testing with motors, we have been reducing CO2, NOx and other exhaust gas emissions. These approaches works out to reduce the energy per unit production by about 40% compared to FY 2005 while improving production efficiency.
Furthermore, by subdivision of the waste classification and the trust to the appropriate industrial waste processing company which should have been recycling processing, we have been carrying out resources recycling.
